Lealon Earl McLeod, a cherished soul known for his warmth and spirited nature, was born on May 20, 1944, in Norman, North Carolina. He departed this life peacefully at his home on December 18, 2024, leaving behind a legacy woven with love and dedication.
Lealon was a devoted family man who loved unconditionally. His passion for life and his family shone brightly in everything he did. After graduating high school, he pursued higher education and obtained his bachelor's degree, setting a commendable example for his children. Throughout his professional journey, Lealon spent many years in procurement for Lockheed Martin, where he earned the respect and admiration of colleagues for his diligent work ethic and commitment to excellence.
He took great joy in expressing himself through his artistic talent, and many family gatherings were filled with laughter, creativity, and love. Lealon’s greatest treasures were his beloved wife, Patricia "Trish" McLeod, and their three sons, Eric, Cameron, and Bradley McLeod. As a father, he nurtured the dreams of his children and took pride in their achievements. He later expanded his joy with the arrival of his grandsons, Lee, Nicholas, and Isaac McLeod, whom he adored and cherished.
Lealon’s heart was intertwined with the love of his late parents, Lealon Max and Nelma McLeod. Although they have departed from this world, their memory lives on through the strength and values they instilled in him.
A memorial service to honor Lealon’s life will be held on December 28, 2024, at Floyds Boiling Springs Chapel in Boiling Springs, South Carolina. Family and friends are invited to gather at 1:00 PM.
Lealon Earl McLeod's life was a beautiful melody of love, laughter, and artistic expression. He will be deeply missed, but his joyful spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
