Laura Poole

Laura Poole, 62, of 231 Haslett Street, Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, January 22, 2010, at her residence. Born December 2, 1947, in Weehawken, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Virginia Mazurczyk Trifoglio. She was retired from Sodexo Food Service after twenty-four years serving at Spartanburg Methodist College and was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband, Joseph C. Poole; three daughters, Lori Ann Witnik of Spartanburg, Jody Lynn Fortner of Charlotte, NC, and Carol-Lee Poole of Atlanta, GA; two sisters, Mary Jean Lowry of Port Richie, FL, and Irene Trifoglio of Brick, NJ; and two grandsons, David Alan Jackson and Christopher S. Fortner, both of Charlotte. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2010, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
