Larry Moore

Larry Carl Moore, 89, of Spartanburg, died Thursday, May 20, 2021, at Spartanburg Medical Center.  He was born June 24, 1931 in Union, SC, a son of the late Garnett Theodore and Inez Jolly Moore.

Larry was a member of Fernwood Baptist Church and was a US Air Force veteran of the Korean War.  He retired after 44 years of service from Milliken & Company.

Surviving is his loving wife of 67 years, Geraldine Roes Moore; a daughter, Laura Nunamacher (Jeff) of Greer, SC; a son, Tony Moore (Deborah) of Boiling Springs, SC; grandchildren, Sam Nunamacher, Zach Nunamacher (AJ), Ashley Ridings, and Lori Ezell; great-grandchildren, Lacey Ezell (Corey), Tara Coggins (Brandon) and Rick Ezell; and a great-great-granddaughter, Alice Elders.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 24, 2021, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. Matthew K. Johnson. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
