Larry Kimbrell

Larry Junior Kimbrell, 78, of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, December 18, 2020. Born January 30, 1942 in Spartanburg County, SC, he was the son of the late Clyde and Emma Price Kimbrell. Larry was retired from Siemens. He was a member of Whitney Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include loving wife of 39 years, Barbara Cagle Kimbrell; daughters, Beth Hill (Jerry), Charlene Fernanders, Janet Sallers (Brian), Angie Waddell; sons, The Rev. Brian Waddell (Lisa) and Scott Waddell (Angie); 12 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; his brothers, Donald Kimbrell and Bill Kimbrell; and his sister, Ann Groce. He was also predeceased by a sister, Joyce Belcher. Visitation will be 11:00 AM - 12:45 PM Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Whitney Freewill Baptist Church, 847 Iron Ore Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM in the sanctuary, conducted by The Rev. Christopher White, The Rev. Kenneth Cash and The Rev. Brian Waddell. Burial will follow in Good Shepherd Memorial Park, 4164 Boiling Springs Road, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Whitney Free Will Baptist Church, 847 Iron Ore Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
