Larry Hyatt

Larry Boyd Hyatt, 66, of 71 Graham Street, died Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at Laurens County Hospital. Born January 6, 1944 in Spartanburg County, he was the son of the late Jesse Boyd and Lottie Floyd Hyatt and the husband of the late Sue Ellen Gaines Hyatt. He retired from the U. S. Navy and later worked as a Lost Prevention Supervisor with Marriott Corporation in Orlando, FL. Survivors include two sons, Tom Hyatt and wife Jacqueline of Orange City, FL and Jason Hyatt and wife Kari of Deland, FL; a brother, Alvin Hyatt of Spartanburg; and a granddaughter, Hadley Hyatt of Orange City, FL. Graveside services with military rites by the SC State Guard Honors Team will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 19, 2010 at Walnut Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Keith Taylor. The family is at the home of his cousin, 1314 Bud Arthur Bridge Road, Cowpens.
