Larry Guy

Larry DeFoix Guy, 79, of Spartanburg, SC, died Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born January 19, 1941 in Una, SC, he was the son of the late William D. and Helen Garmon Guy and the widower of Frances Thomas Guy. Larry attended Fairforest High School and was retired from Arrow Automotive. He was a member of United Baptist Church and a lifetime member of Lone Oak Masonic Lodge and Woodruff Shrine, and a member of the Hillbilly Clan No. 2. Larry was an avid golfer, sportsman, and traveler. Survivors include his daughters, Donna Lindsay (Glenn) and Lisa Everts (Bob); three grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Beth Thompson; and numerous family and friends. A graveside service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 20, 2021 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by The Rev. Robert Emory.
