Larche Harvey

Larche D. "LD" Harvey, 82, died Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born July 27, 1931, in Bastrop, LA, he was the son of the late Earl Douglas and Iva Mae Books Harvey. Mr. Harvey worked 42 years in the corrugated box industry. He was a member of Anderson Mill Road Baptist Church and active with Relay for Life. Survivors include his cherished wife of 61 years, Bonnie Bryan Harvey; son, Steve Harvey (Pam) of Lexington, NC; daughter, Debbie Mason (Tommy) of Lexington, NC; grandchildren, Brianne Brewer (Justin), Charlotte Brooke Mason, Elizabeth Harvey, Jonathan Harvey, and Mary Catherine Harvey; and great-grandchildren, Caitlyn Brewer and Carrigan Brewer. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Lewis Harvey. A memorial service will be conducted at 1:30 PM Saturday, December 7, 2013, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Dr. D. J. Horton. Visitation will follow at the Chapel.
