Lanell Goodyear

Lanell Israel Goodyear, 96, of Palm Coast, FL, formerly of Spartanburg, died Sunday, October 30, 2011, at Grand Oaks Health & Rehab Center. Born July 16, 1915, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Karl Tillman and Ada Nancy Teal Israel. Survivors include her loving husband, Michael M. Goodyear of Palm Coast, FL; son, Terry Vassey (Margaret) of Alpharetta, GA; grandsons, Ken Vassey (Lindy) of Canton, GA, and Alan Vassey of Hapeville, GA; great-granddaughter, Taylor Vassey of Canton, GA; and a sister, Betty Glover of Spartanburg. She was predeceased by her brother, Bill Israel of Acworth, GA. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday, November 4, 2011, in Sunset Memorial Park, by the Rev. Brian Arant.
