Landise Turner

Landise Robinson Turner, 91, of 311 Summerwood Lane, died Saturday, February 27, 2010, at her home. Born May 21, 1918, in Cooley Springs, SC, she was the daughter of the late James and Minnie Mitchem Robinson. She was first married to the late Willard Allison and then to the late Paul Turner. She was retired from Beaumont Mills after 44 years of service and was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Survivors include a daughter, Peggy A. Fletcher of Boiling Springs; two grandsons, Dennis Fletcher and his wife Martha of Boiling Springs, and Randall Allison of Spartanburg; two granddaughters, Cindi Lundgren and her husband Jon of South Dakota, and Paula Allison of Kansas; two great-grandsons, SGT. Jarred Fletcher who is serving in Afghanistan, and Christopher Lundgren of South Dakota; two great-granddaughters, Summer F. Stockman and her husband Shawn of Inman, and Katelyn Lundgren of South Dakota; and a great-great-grandson, Caden Stockman of Inman. She was predeceased by a son, Paul L. Allison; a son-in-law, Bill Fletcher; a grandson, Jeff Fletcher; six sisters; and one brother. Visitation will be 1:30-2:30 p.m. Monday, March 1, 2010, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Sunset Memorial Park.
