Lajuan Floyd

Lajuan Newman Floyd, 70, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, June 28, 2021 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born July 19, 1950 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Lee Newman and Eva Ann King Newman Kirk and widow of William “Bill” Calvin Floyd.

Mrs. Floyd was a retired supervisor at Maytex Knitting Mill with 25 years of service. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her son, William Mark Floyd (Sheri) of Jacksonville, FL; grandsons, Taylor Brian Floyd of Beech Island, SC, and William Ryan Floyd of Killeen, TX. She was predeceased by a brother, Melvin Ray Newman.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July 2, 2021 in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by The Rev. Brian Motts.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 901 South Pine Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
