Krystal Burkholder

Krystal Irene Burkholder, 50, of Boiling Springs, SC, passed away Monday, December 19, 2022 at her home. Born July 20, 1972 in Union, SC, she was the daughter of Eddie Ray Burkholder and Emily Irene Buice Peeler.

Krystal was a Medical Assistant at Lung and Chest Medical Associates for 21 years. She was currently employed with Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. She was very athletic and enjoyed working out.

Krystal was family-oriented and loved her daughter and her dog, Aries. She had a contagious laugh and was looking forward to being a “Lollie” to her new grandson.

Survivors include her daughter, Taylor Burkholder (Noah) of Pauline, SC, and their son, Luka Banks Hileski; her mother and stepfather, Earl and Emily Peeler of Pacolet Mills, SC; her father, Eddie Burkholder, Sr. of Pacolet, SC; her brothers, Eddie Ray Burkholder, II (Teresa) of Boiling Springs, SC and their family; Anthony Otis Burkholder (Jana) of Boiling Springs, SC and their family; her sister, Sherry Burkholder Greene of Boiling Springs, SC and their family; along with numerous family and close friends.

Visitation will be 9:30 – 10:15 a.m. Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Mountainview “The View” Baptist Church, 5555 Parris Bridge Road, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., at the church, conducted by The Rev. Tyler Kirby. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
