Kristy Meadows

Kristy Renae Meadows, 48, of Boiling Springs, SC, died Monday, September 26, 2016, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born October 28, 1967, in Union, SC, she was the daughter of the late Alvin Gray Meadows and Janice Gregory Meadows. A member of the Gamecock Club USC Full Scholarship Program, Kristy was also a member of the Monday Night Ladies of Paradise Lanes Bowling League. In 1986 she was the softball scholarship recipient of Spartanburg Methodist College, 1988 graduate of SMC, and attended AIB-American Institute of Baking in Manhattan, Kansas. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Rock Hill, SC and employed with Spartan Foods of America. Survivors include her spouse, Cynthia Marian Shurbutt of the home; brother, Graylin H. Meadows and Renae, nephew, Jonathan G. Meadows, and niece, Mary Karen Meadows, all of Rock Hill, SC; mother-in-law, Margaret L. Shurbutt of Lyman, SC; brothers-in-law, David Shurbutt of Asheville, NC and Kym Shurbutt of Myrtle Beach, SC; and sister-in-law, Suzanne Shurbutt Boisvert of St. Petersburg, FL. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, September 29, 2016, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Hwy 9 N, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 PM Friday, September 30, 2016, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel.
