Kristine Cooper

Kristine "Kris" Alene Kauffman Cooper, 53, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at her home. Born February 23, 1965, in Utica, NY, she was the daughter of Janice Kauffman of Woodruff, SC and the late David Peterson. Mrs. Cooper attended Spartanburg Technical College and was a member of Arcadia First Baptist Church. She was a former Emergency Medical Technician and ran a home day care. Surviving are her husband, Donald Ray Cooper; children, Laurance Patz of Spartanburg, SC, Joshua Patz (Amber) of Washington DC, and Alexandra Haught (Alex) of Spartanburg, SC; step-children, Melissa Coker (Bobby) of Spartanburg, SC and Brad Cook (Tiffany) of Abilene, TX; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Kara Franke of Hartford, CT; uncle, John Kauffman (Peg) of Harford, CT; and aunt, Jenny Lou of St. Petersburg, FL. Private services will be held at a later date.
