Kristen Prutsman

Kristen Elizabeth Cudd Prutsman, 40, of Spartanburg, SC, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 12, 2014, she was born on April 15, 1974. She was predeceased by her father, Otha Phillip Cudd, and step-father, Herman Martin Davis Jr. Ms. Prutsman worked for many years at Safe Homes Rape Crisis Coalition in Spartanburg, SC, as well as Charleston, SC. A 1992 graduate of Dorman High School, a 1994 graduate of Spartanburg Methodist College, and received a B.A. of Psychology from University of South Carolina, Spartanburg, SC in 1996. She had a love of helping others and was actively involved with Center Point Presbyterian Church, and was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. Spending time with her family and son was very important to her. Survivors are her son, Gavin Neal Prutsman, of Pauline, SC; mom, Fran Cooler Davis, of Spartanburg, SC; sister, Lindsey Cudd (Charles Edward, Jr.) Leonard, of Spartanburg, SC; nephew, Titus Phillip Cudd, of Spartanburg, SC; step-brothers Herman "Chip" Martin Davis, III of Spartanburg, SC and Brian Neal Davis, of Tennessee. She is also survived by her fiancé, Michael Aaron Jencks, of Spartanburg, SC. Visitation will be held 12:30 - 2:30 PM Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 PM in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. Raymond A. Hellings.
