Kitsy Sharrett

Kitsy Dawn Sharrett, 51, of Chesnee, SC passed away April 16, 2022, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. She was born in Spartanburg, SC on January 6, 1971, a daughter of Kathryn Harris Robertson of Spartanburg, and Joel Edward Robertson, Jr. of Taylors. She was married to her high school sweetheart, Scott Lee Sharrett.

Dawn was a member of Peach Valley Baptist Church. She loved fishing, the beach, and spending time with her loved ones by the water.

Along with her parents and husband, Dawn is survived by sons, Trevor Sharrett, Trent Sharrett, and Timothy Sharrett; stepmother, Valerie Patricia Robertson; sister, Amy Robertson Young (Mike); nieces, Jessie Young and Abbie Easler (Daniel); sister-in-law, Lisa Sharrett Martin (Henry); cousin and best friend, Kristen McClain (Tony); and her chihuahua, Cocoa. She was predeceased by her grandparents.

The family would like to say a special thank you to her wonderful caregiver, Valerie Roberston.

Visitation will be 1:00 – 2:30 PM on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM in the Chapel conducted by Rev. Dr. Ron Gaddy and Rev. Keith Davis. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Peach Valley Baptist Church building fund, 105 Burns Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307 or Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
