King Pui "Peter" Mak, 72, of Gaffney, SC died Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born October 14, 1948 in China, he was the son of the late Num Mak and Wai-Sim Wong. Peter was a chef who loved to eat and watch TV, also loved to cook and travel. Survivors include his wife Bi Yun Chen; daughters, Candy Mak (Jacky Chen) of Greenville, SC and Emily Chen of Gaffney, SC; sister-in-law, Helen Mak of Gaffney, SC; nephew, John Mak (Erica Fu) of Boiling Springs, SC; niece, Marie Warkoczewski (Joe) of Duncan, SC; aunt, Faye Wing; uncle, Lee Wing; siblings, Tom, Bill, Alan and Nancy all of Canada, and cousins, Dr. Richard Wing, Maylar Wing and Steven Wing all of Charlotte, NC. Visitation will be held 12:00-2:00 PM Sunday, March 14, 2021, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
