Kimberly Dobbins

Kimberly Ann Dobbins, 47, of Pacolet, SC, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Prisma Health Greer Memorial Hospital. Born May 6, 1974 in Rock Hill, SC, she was the daughter of Guy Mitchell Fortson Sr. and Wanda Kay Fortson.

Kimberly was a member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church for the last 12 years.

A loving, very thoughtful and giving person, but her first priority was her family—a wife, mother and Nana “K.” She loved Clemson football and was a shopaholic, especially when it came to antiques. Kimberly loved to raise Cockapoo puppies, and Willow was her fur-baby.

Survivors include her husband, Jeffrey Eugene Dobbins, her daughters, Logan Angela Roman (Josh) of Inman, SC, Bethany Mador Turner (Kasey) of Pacolet, SC, and Danyell Kay Dobbins of Spartanburg, SC, her grandchildren, James Turner, Chance Turner, Sara Ann Turner, Josiah Roman, Sawyer Roman, Isaac Roman, her parents, Guy Mitchell and Wanda Kay Fortson, her sister, Vickie Melissa Woelffer, her brother, Guy Mitchell Fortson, Jr., and her paternal grandmother, Vallie Lee Fortson. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Roy Thomas and Vivian Madora Murphy.

Visitation will be 12:00 – 1:45 PM Monday, November 8, 2021 at Calvary Hill Baptist Church, 7210 S. Pine Street, Pacolet, SC 29372. A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM at the church, conducted by The Rev. Bill Pickle. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC 29372.
