Kevin Brown

Kevin Randall Brown, 54, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away in his sleep at his home Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Born July 17, 1968, he was the beloved son of Richard Allen and Diane S. Brown, of Spartanburg, SC.

A graduate of Dorman High School, Kevin went on to earn a degree in Biology from the University of South Carolina – Upstate, where he had won a full four-year scholarship, The Piedmont Scholar Scholarship. After graduation, Kevin worked several years in the electronics field. Then he joined the Milliken Research Corporation as a chemist for the next 20 years. Following this, he assisted his family in the real estate investment business.

In addition to his grieving parents, Kevin is survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins, including Carolyn S. West of Myrtle Beach, Deborah S. Sherer of Lexington, Jeanne S. Ramsey of Prosperity, Jeff C. Stokes of West Columbia, and a special cousin, Joseph C. Ramsey of Irmo.

Kevin was a beloved son, a loving family member, a loyal friend, an exceptionally fine, wonderful man, and truly an adornment to the human race. We shall not see his like again.

Private funeral arrangements and memorial service will be announced later.
