Kenneth Helms

Kenneth Carlius "Mule" Helms, 47, of Una, SC, died Monday, February 11, 2013, at his home. Born April 6, 1965, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of Evelyn Lucille Bailey Helms of Una, SC and the late Carlius Wilbur Helms. He was married to his beloved wife of 29 years, Mary Jane Moore Helms of Una, SC. He was previously employed with Mintz Scrap Iron & Metal. In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by his children, Leah Rhiannon Helms and James Robert Helms, both of Una, SC; and sisters, Lisa Hawkins of Inman, SC, and Debra McGee of Gaffney, SC. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 PM Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Thursday, February 14, 2013, in Sunset Memorial Park, by Pastor Keith Davis. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908. The family is at their respective homes.
