Kenneth Eledge

Kenneth Paul Eledge, 72, of Blythewood, SC, died Thursday, June 9, 2016, at Palmetto Health Baptist Columbia. Born August 25, 1943, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Paul Butler Eledge and Grace Seay Eledge. A veteran of the National Guard, Mr. Eledge retired from McKesson Medical Supply with over 35 years of service. Kenneth was a member of Washington Street United Methodist Church and was previously a member of Central United Methodist Church of Spartanburg. He was also a member of Cobblestone Golf Club, he was an avid Gamecock fan and was a full scholarship donor for the USC Gamecock Club. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Phyllis Holt Eledge of the home; daughter, Kimberly Eledge Lesesne of Charleston, SC; three grandchildren, Grace Kendall Lesesne, Henry Osborne Lesesne, and Margaret Isabella Lesesne; a sister, Patricia Eledge Franklin (Sid) of Boiling Springs, SC; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Annie Grace Fincher and Harriette Eledge Bailey. Visitation will be 1:30 - 2:30 PM Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Central United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 233 North Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM, at the church, by the Rev. Tom Norrell. Burial, with military honors, will be in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
