Kenneth Burkett

Kenneth Ray Burkett, 52, of Boiling Springs, died Thursday, November 12, 2009, at his home. Born November 30, 1956, in Greenwood, SC, he was the son of Margaret Williams Tuck of Spartanburg and the late James L. Burkett. He was a former electrician with Pryor Electrical for many years and a member of Living Water Community Church. Surviving in addition to his mother are two sisters, Cindy Owens of Inman, and Cheryl Wardlaw of Boiling Springs; a brother, J. D. Burkett of Clewiston, FL; and his girlfriend, Lynn Durham of the home. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 p.m. Sunday, November 15, 2009, at Living Water Community Church, 9150 Asheville Highway, Boiling Springs. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Church conducted by the Rev. Frank Bryant. Burial will be in Ware Shoals Cemetery in Ware Shoals, SC. The family is at the home of his sister, Cindy Owens, 181 Lake Bowen Dam Road, Inman.
