Ken Temple

Kenny L. Temple, 74, of Wellford, died Sunday, October 23, 2011, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born June 18, 1937, in Maryland, he was the son of the late Ruel Swigett and Nellie Mae Sherman Wheeler. Mr. Temple retired as a machinist after 36 years at Union Camp Co. He was a member of North Spartanburg Church of God. Survivors include his loving wife of 38 years, Barbara Ann Owens Temple; daughters, Patricia S. Livesay, Brenda Dianne Millwood, and Vicki L. McGraw, all of Spartanburg; a son, Jimmy R. Parris, Jr. of Cowpens; and sisters, Helen Wilkerson of Baltimore, MD and Maryann Smith of Hurricane, WVA. He was predeceased by a daughter, Donna E. Wright. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 26, 2011, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Larry D. Flippo.
