Ken Hall

July 3, 1941 — April 24, 2011

James Kenneth Hall, 69, of Spartanburg, died Sunday, April 24, 2011 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born July 3, 1941, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Homer and Myrtle Bishop Hall. Ken was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church, retired from South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation after 37 years, and was presently employed with Wakefield Buick. Mr. Hall was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a 1964 graduate of Wofford College. He was a diehard Clemson fan. Survivors include his wife, Sandra Ann Ingram Hall; a daughter, Kim Dalton and her husband Hal of Boiling Springs; a son, Jonathan "Jon" Kenneth Hall and his wife Erin Vandever of Spartanburg; and two grandsons, Tyler and Trevor Dalton. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at the home of his son Jonathan, 2209 Edgefield Road Spartanburg, SC 29302. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday, April 27, 2011 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Brian Arant. Visitation will follow at the graveside. Memorials may be made to the Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29303; or Liberty United Methodist Church, 2095 Chesnee Hwy, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
