Kellie Hewson

Kellie Reneé Bishop Hewson, 49, of Spartanburg, died Monday, April 8, 2013, at her home. Born July 15, 1963, in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of Floyd Harry and Melba Lawson Bishop of Spartanburg, SC. Kellie was a loving mother and daughter and an accomplished artist. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Presbyterian Church and a graduate of the College of Charleston. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, Andrew Cameron Hewson, Nicholas Ash Hewson, and Julia Sadie Carlisle Hewson, all of Spartanburg; brother, Marc Harrison Bishop (Nella) of Chapin; a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephews; and her former husband of 23 years and friend, Rob Hewson. Visitation will be 1:45-2:45 PM Thursday, April 10, 2013, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Richard M. Thomas and the Rev. Todd Lowe. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Arts Partnership Office of the Chapman Cultural Center, Attn: Epsie Coleman, 200 East St. John Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306. Interpreters for the deaf will be provided at the service. The family is at the home of her parents.
