Kay Robinson

Kay Williams Robinson, 62, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Born August 15, 1952, in Asheville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Wallace Earl and Martha Frances Rogers Williams. Mrs. Robinson was an avid gardener and loved her flowers. A 1975 graduate of Limestone College, she retired from teaching at McCarthy Tesztler School, was a past Board member of Spartanburg Little Theatre, and a member of the Junior League of Spartanburg. She was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include her loving husband of 19 years, George Randolph Robinson; sister, Ann Williams Martin; niece, Lisa Martin Patton (Harry) and their children Harry and Elizabeth; and nephew, Hayes C. Martin, Jr. (Amy) and their son Tripp. A memorial service will be conducted at 12:00 noon Saturday, December 13, 2014, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
