Kathy Glass

Kathy Elaine Hennesy Glass, 64, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at Spartanburg Hospital for Restorative Care. Born February 12, 1952, in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Joseph Hennesy, Jr. and Kathryn Oakman Hennesy and widow of Edward Loy Glass, III. Mrs. Glass was a great cook, loving wife, mother, and sister, with a sweet disposition and an infectious laugh. A graduate of Cecil's Business College, she attended the University of South Carolina, and was a lifelong member of Ben Avon United Methodist Church. Surviving are two sons, Brian Loy Glass (Emily) of Inman, SC and Joseph Edward Glass (Alyn) of Spartanburg, SC; sister, Carol Hennesy of Spartanburg, SC; and brother, Michael Hennesy (Carla) of Mt. Juliet, TN. Visitation will be 9:30-10:45 AM Saturday, December 3, 2016, at Ben Avon United Methodist Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM, at the church, conducted by the Rev. Jonesy Brewer. Burial will be private.
