Kathryn Wilson

Kathryn Irene Long Wilson, 88, of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, September 11, 2015, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born July 28, 1927, in Gastonia, NC, she was the daughter of the late Walter Long and Margaret Sexton Long and widow of Robert O. Wilson. She was of the Baptist faith and a retired registered nurse. Surviving are her son, David S. Wilson and his wife Amy of Spartanburg, SC. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 13, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Robert Emory. Visitation will follow the service at the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to United Baptist Building Fund, 7314 Valley Falls Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
