Kathryn Ezell

Kathryn Jolley Ezell, 86, of Spartanburg, SC, died Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Eden Terrace of Spartanburg. Born October 1, 1926 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Caldwell and Correll Cooley Jolley and wife of the late Dewitt Talmadge Ezell. Mrs. Ezell was a retired hostess and cashier with Shoney's Restaurant for 17 years where she was affectionately known as "Mama" and a member of Hayne Baptist Church (now United Baptist Church). Surviving are sons, Roger L. Ezell of Marshall, NC and Donald F. Ezell of Spartanburg; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sisters, Irene Jolley Timmons and Alda Jolley Saxon and brother, Dexter D. Jolley. Visitation will be 12:30-1:30 PM Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Robert Emory.
