Kathleen Myers

Kathleen Weest "Kat" Myers, 92, of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, October 21, 2016, at RoseCrest-Inman. Born July 29, 1924, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late George Myers and Gary Bearden Weest and widow of Lester Leroy Myers. Mrs. Myers was retired from Spartanburg Methodist College and was a member of Nazareth Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed knitting and crafts and loved to square dance. Survivors include her daughters, Joanne M. Lynn (John) of Palatka, FL; Leslie L. Myers of Spartanburg, SC; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Ruth M. Kirkpatrick and a son, Edward G. Myers; and two sisters. Visitation will be 7:00 - 9:00 PM Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Graveside service will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 26, 2016 in Nazareth Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 680 Nazareth Church Rd., Moore, SC 29369, conducted by Rev. Andy Case.
