Kathleen Holbert

Kitty Holbert, 87, of 1110 Marshall Road, died November 3, 2010 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born June 12, 1923 in Asheville, NC, she was the wife of the late James W. Holbert. She was a member of Morningside Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, James Holbert of Greenwood; two grandchildren, Meg Holbert and Sarah Parris and husband Matt, all of Greenwood; and a nephew, Charles Stratford and wife Jean of Tryon, NC. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Kirk H. Neely. Visitation will follow the service at the graveside. Memorials may be made to Morningside Baptist Church, General Fund, 897 South Pine Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302. The family is at their respective homes.
