Kathleen Banks

Kathleen Rogers Banks, 83, of Spartanburg, died Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Giles Vernon Rogers and Fannie Mae Henson Rogers and the wife of the late George Banks, Jr. She was a member of Arcadia United Methodist Church and former member of Young at Heart at Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Kathy Burnett of Spartanburg, Robin Wilkie of Youngsville, NC, and Dana Banks Kriz of Denver, CO; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Park, conducted by the Rev. James B. Carter. Visitation will follow the service at the graveside.
