Kathey Cole

Kathey Wilson Cole, 58, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born April 12, 1957, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of Barbara Jean Potter Wilson of Spartanburg, SC and the late Melvin Andrew Wilson. Kathey was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church and employed with Spartanburg Medical Center as a lab technician for 37 years. Survivors include her son, William Simmons of Rock Hill, SC; two aunts, Emma Lee and Myra Webb, both of Spartanburg, SC; cousins, Ginny W. Loftis (Roger) of Spartanburg, SC, Candace W. Watford of Rocky Mount, NC, Cindy W. Boyd of Florence, SC, and several more cousins. A cryptside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 17, 2015, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Complex, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Sal Barone. Visitation will follow at the cryptside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Liberty United Methodist Church, 2095 Chesnee Hwy, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
