Katherine Wilson

Katherine D. Wilson, 91, of Boiling Springs, SC, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2014, at her home. Born October 7, 1922, in Clinton, SC, she was the daughter of the late Paul Estil and Zelpha Lokey Dean, and wife for 66 years, of her beloved husband, the late Woodrow Wilson. Mrs. Wilson attended Community Bible Church of Boiling Springs and was a member of Spartanburg First Wesleyan Church, for over 50 years, where she also served as church treasurer for several years. She retired from Carolina Cash Company and was a graduate of Greenwood High School. Survivors include her daughter, Diane Wilson of Boiling Springs, SC; sister, Betty Burdette (Melvin) of Spartanburg, SC; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Monday, January 27, 2014, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Hwy 9 N, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Tim Stafford, the Rev. Dan Parker, and the Rev. Gary Long. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Memorials may be made to Community Bible Church Missions, 150 Grace Drive, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
