Katherine Obituary

Katherine Lee Mills Thorne, 64, of Inman, SC, died Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born December 28, 1949, in Roanoke, VA, she was the daughter of the late Harold Sharon Mills Sr. and Katie Lee Etter Mills and widow of Terry Carl Thorne. Mrs. Thorne, a retired legal secretary, received a BS Degree in English and History with a minor in Sociology from Radford University in Radford, VA. She loved being a great mom to her daughters and enjoyed crafting, painting, and reading. Survivors include her daughters, Heather Nicely of Greer, SC, and Katie Thorne of Inman, SC, and brothers, Harold Mills of Roanoke, VA, Ron Mills of Pensacola, FL and Wayne Mills of Fincastle, VA. A visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 PM on Saturday, November 15, 2014, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Hwy. 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
