Katherine Moore

Katherine Coulter Moore, 100, of Spartanburg, died Sunday, December 19, 2010, at White Oak Estates. Born October 15, 1910 in Spring City, TN, she was the daughter of the late James Bruce and Margaret Brewer Coulter and wife of the late Thomas Moore. She was the retired owner of Younger Fashions of Spartanburg and a member of Evangel Cathedral. Survivors include a son, Tom Moore of Summerville; daughters, Alice M. Pierce of Spartanburg and Luann M. Baggott of Lewisburg, WV; sister, Jo Ann Coulter of Chattanooga, TN; three brothers, Jim Coulter of Chattanooga, TN, Walter Coulter of Graysville, TN and Frank Coulter of Hendersonville, TN; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, Brewer and Johnson Coulter. Cryptside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum, conducted by the Rev. Sal Barone.
