Katherine Bliley

Katherine Roach Bliley, 96, of Spartanburg, died Thursday, February 9, 2012, at Rosecrest Nursing Home-Inman. Born September 17, 1915, in Union City, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Kate Parker Roach, and wife of the late J. Earle Bliley. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mrs. Bliley was a member of Corry First United Methodist Church in Corry, PA since 1956 and a life member of the American Chapter #19 Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include her daughter, Kaylene B. Wilber of Spartanburg; son, John E. Bliley of Duncan; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery, Union City, PA. Calling hours will be in the respective children's homes 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday, February 12, 2012.
