Justin Reif

Petty Officer 2nd Class Justin David Reif, U. S. Navy, 29, of Orange Park, FL, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, April 15, 2012, in Jacksonville Beach, FL. Born November 9, 1982, in Jacksonville, FL, he was the husband of Lynn Elizabeth Reif of Spartanburg, SC, and son of Victoria Vaughan Vasey of Greenville, SC, and David Lynn Reif of Inman, SC. Petty Officer Reif was an aircraft electrician for the U. S. Navy. He was an avid golfer and boater who also loved automobiles, mechanics, and skeet shooting. He was a member of First Baptist Church of North Spartanburg. In addition to his wife and parents, survivors include step-daughters, Hanah and Alaina; brother, Evan Reif of Wheaton, MD; maternal grandmother, Patricia Vaughan of Boiling Springs, SC; paternal grandparents, Loretta and Stanley Reif of McFarland, WI; step-father, Rich Vasey of Greenville, SC; and step-mother, Jana Reif of Inman, SC. He was predeceased by maternal grandfather, Vernon Vaughan. Visitation will be 1:00-2:45 PM Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at First Baptist Church of North Spartanburg. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM, at the church, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Michael S. Hamlet. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens with military honors by NOIC Fort Gordon, GA, and Navy Operation Support Center, Greenville, SC.
