Justin Blanton

Justin Darrell Blanton, age 31, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 3, 2011, at his home in Greenville, SC. Justin was born on April 17, 1979, and raised in Spartanburg, SC. He graduated from Dorman High School (1997), and the University of South Carolina (2006). He was self-employed. He had a love for life and enjoyed cooking, trying new cuisines, and seeing people enjoy his creations. He also enjoyed fishing, golfing, and was an avid SC Gamecock fan, especially football. Justin was such a kind, giving, and loving person, and brightened many people's lives. He will be sorely missed by all his family and friends. Justin is survived by his wife, the love of his life, Lindsay Oxley Blanton; his parents, Darrell Blanton and Connie Eubanks (Ralph Park); maternal grandmother, Mary Clary Eubanks; paternal grandfather, Clytus C. Blanton; one sister, Julie Blanton McCombs (Scott); one step-brother, Ray Park (LeAnn); two nieces, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by maternal grandfather, Warren Conrad Eubanks, and paternal grandmother, Adell Baytes Blanton. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, April 8, 2011 at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Charles McClure. Visitation will follow the chapel service. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to the Justin Blanton Memorial Fund, c/o GHS Credit Union, 211 Patewood Dr., Greenville, SC 29615.
