Junivee Gowan Allison, 88, of Inman, went home to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at her home. She was born March 23,1937, in Hot Springs, N.C. to the late James Hilliard and Nannie Mae Holt Gowan. She was a member of Vineyard Church of God in Spartanburg, and the former owner with her husband of Recycle Incorporated.
She was the loving wife of sixty years to, Mack Floyd Allison; three sons, Rev. Roger Joel Allison (Sherry), Rev. Stephen Paul Allison, and Rev. David Keith Allison (Claudia); one brother, Charles Gowan; eight grandchildren, Nick Allison (Laura), Brent Allison (Kiley), Shawn Allison (Tammy), Rebekah Gardner (Austin), David Velilla (Samantha), Mikey Velilla (Kayla), Brittany Saunders (Brad) and Eric Velilla; and twelve great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is pre-deceased by a brother, Lee Gowan, and four sisters, Hazel Walker, Pauline Genoble, Valarie George, and Shirley Hernandez.
Visitation will be held, 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. on Monday, April 21, 2025, at the Vineyard Church of God in Spartanburg, with the Funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. David Allison, Rev. Paul Allison, and Rev. Roger Allison officiating. Interment will follow the service in Sunset Memorial Park in Spartanburg.
