Junior Sanraseu Moua of Chesnee, SC, passed away on Tuesday March 28, 2023 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born March 7, 1979, in Spartanburg, SC; he was the son of Lue Moua and the late Shoua Ly Moua.
Loved by many, survivors include his sons, Iggie Moua, Jaevin Moua; father, Lue Moua; sister, Georgia Moua Parker (Jeff); niece and nephews, Carrie Moua, Ian Moua and Scott Parker; many cousins and extended family in Chesnee, SC. Junior is preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Moua who passed in 2019.
Junior was a devoted father to Iggie and Jaevin whom he cherished with all his heart. His favorite thing in the world was taking his sons fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He loved sports but especially volleyball as his son Iggie and cousins played in tournaments. He had many friends over his life, including all the nursing staff and doctors who cared for him for 10 years as a dialysis patient. Junior will be missed by everyone; he touched so many lives all over the country, especially his peers, mentees in the sports he participated in, and by his maternal grandmother and family in Minnesota.
