June Marthers

June Gossett Marthers, 68, of Pacolet, SC passed away Monday, August 23, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born August 20, 1953 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Boyd and Margaret Bell Lee Gossett.

June was a graduate of Pacolet High School. She was of the Baptist faith. She loved her family, was a fantastic Nana to her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, David Leslie Marthers, her son, Joshua David Marthers of Johns Island, SC, her daughter, Robin M. George (Matthew) of Anderson, SC, three grandchildren, Caleb George, Eli George, and Josie George, and her sister, Sybil Fowler of Pacolet, SC. Along with her parents, she was also predeceased by a sister, Montez Bradley.

A Graveside Memorial service will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 28, 2021 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by The Rev. Bill Rigsby. Visitation will be at the graveside.
