June Lain

June Lain, 91, of Spartanburg, SC died Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born January 6, 1924, in Auburn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Walter Francis and Loretta Bohn Deacy. She was predeceased by her husband, James Harry Lain. June was a homemaker and was the President of Independent Living Resident Council at Brookdale at Skylyn. Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Lain Nelson (Robert) of Seattle, WA; sons, James Lain of Sarasota, FL and Michael Lain (Maggie) of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Kristen Reed, Daniel Lain, Thomas Lain, and Samantha Lain; four great-grandchildren; and brother, Francis "Buck" Deacy (Rita) of Buffalo, NY. She was also predeceased by a brother, Louis Deacy and a sister, Alyce Matraw. The Funeral Mass will be at noon, Thursday, October 8, 2015 at the Catholic Church of Jesus our Risen Savior, 2575 Reidville Road, Spartanburg, SC 29301, conducted by the Rev. Edgardo Enverga, CRM.
