June Mabry Bryant, 85, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at Burke Hospice, Valdese, NC. Born April 2, 1933, in Pacolet, SC, she was the daughter of the late Ivan Wilton Mabry and Almeta Wells Mabry and wife of 59 years to the late DeVore Bryant. A member of St. Mark United Methodist Church, she served in virtually every leadership capacity. Mrs. Bryant earned a Degree in Banking and Finance from Limestone College graduating in 1978 and served on the Presidents Advisory Council. She was the Assistant Vice-President and Branch Manager at the Cedar Springs branch of Wachovia Bank and was a member and former Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Glendale Chapter #175. Survivors include her daughter, Vicka B. Weaver and husband Harold of Hickory, NC; a granddaughter, Courtney E. Helms and husband Trinity of Unionville, NC; a grandson, Michael DeVore Bryant, II of Spartanburg; a great-granddaughter, Kinley Helms; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of wonderful friends, including Phyllis Lindsay and Susan Billings. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Michael "Mike" DeVore Bryant; and brothers, Jack Mabry and Bill Mabry. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Saturday, March 9, 2019, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307, with funeral services following at 2:00 PM, conducted by The Rev. David F. Ervin and The Rev. Wayne Major Sr. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to St. Mark United Methodist Church, 3055 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307; or Epworth Children's Home, PO Box 50466, Columbia, SC 29250.
