Julius ”James” Elvin Martin Durham, Jr., 74, of Spartanburg, died Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born April 9, 1947 in Greenville, SC, he was a son of the late Julius Elvin Martin Durham, Sr. and Katie Riddle Durham.
James worked as a general contractor and was the owner and manager of the Regency Health Spa in Spartanburg for 20 years. He was a member of Living Waters Community Church and was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He dearly loved his family, enjoyed fishing and helping others.
Surviving are 2 sons, Coley Durham and Caleb Durham, both of Boiling Springs; 8 brothers and sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held 4:30 p.m. Friday, July 30, 2021, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel. 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. Frank Bryant. Military Honors will be provided by American Legion Post 200.
