Julia Harrold

Julia Maudine Patterson Harrold, 74, of 320 Sunny Acres Road, died Friday, November 20, 2009, at her home. Born October 17, 1935, in Jonesville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Winnie Millwood Patterson. She was retired from J. P. Stevens Company and was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church where she was a member of the Adult Ladies Sunday School Class and Young at Heart. Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Ned W. Harrold; a daughter, Rhonda Turner and her husband Jerry of Jonesville; a son, Bruce Wynn and his wife Linda of Gaffney; two sisters, Bevia Lipsey and her husband William, and Elaine Lawson and her husband Robert; two brothers, Cecil Patterson and his wife Hazel, and Charles Patterson and his wife Shirley; a brother-in-law, Conrad Harrold and his wife Joanne; two grandchildren raised in the home; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild, step-children, step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, and loving nieces and nephews; and a very special cousin and caregiver, Virginia Burgess. She was predeceased by two sons, Ricky and Billy Wynn. Visitation will be 6:30-8:30 p.m. Saturday, November 21, 2009, at Morning Star Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, November 22, 2009, at Morning Star Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Andrew Carrigan. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Morning Star Baptist Church, Missions Fund, 150 Old Spartanburg Highway, Pacolet, SC 29372. The family is at the home.
