Judy Ann Parris Burkholder

Judy Ann Harmon Parris Burkholder, 78, of Pacolet, SC, died Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born October 24, 1943 in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late John Edwin and Myrtle Lee Harmon and was the wife of the late Olin Dean Parris.

Judy was a former member of Pacolet First Baptist Church and current member of Friends of Faith Baptist Church. She loved the Lord, her family, her church family and especially her grandchildren. She preferred the outdoors, especially yardwork, and was an avid fisherman.

Survivors include her husband, Eddie Ray Burkholder of the home; her sons, Charles “Chuck” Dean Parris (Jill) of Boiling Springs, SC and Buddy Parris (Jolene) of Pacolet, SC; her stepchildren, Sherrie Lee Green, Krystal Hamrick, Eddie Burkholder, II (Teresa), and Anthony Otis Burkholder (Janna), all of Boiling Springs, SC; two grandsons, 10 step grandchildren, and seven step greatgrandchildren, and her dog, “Henry” was her adopted son.  She was predeceased by a sister and brother.

A graveside service will be 2:00 pm Monday, October 24, 2022 in Pacolet Memorial Gardens, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC 29372, conducted by The Rev. Dr. Robert Jarvis. Visitation will follow at the graveside.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Welcome Baptist Church, 206 Nichols Ave., Union, SC 29379.
