Judy Lee

Judy Ward Lee, 75, of Boiling Springs, SC, died Thursday, April 14, 2016, at Brookdale Skylyn-Spartanburg. Born November 5, 1940, in Glendale, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Robert Ward and Elsie C. Ward and widow of Larry Maurice Lee. A loving mother, daughter, sister, and doting grandmother, Mrs. Lee was a member of First Baptist North Spartanburg. She was a phlebotomist, having worked at both Spartanburg Medical Center and Mary Black Memorial Hospital. She also enjoyed her time working as a greeter at Wade's Restaurant and WalMart. Survivors include her daughter, Dawn Lee Allen and her husband David of Greer, SC; son, Noel Burke Lee and his wife Laura of Woodruff, SC; grandchildren, Griffin Gibbs Lee, Hunter Burke Lee, William Thomas Allen, Anna Lucille "Luci" Allen, Laura Robbins Allen, and Addalynn Rae Lee; sister, Nettie Ward Wilkins; brothers, James Ronnie Ward, Paul Donnie Ward, and Boyce Kenneth Ward. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Rudy Shawn Lee; and siblings, Richard Harrison "Buddy" Ward, Madge Welker, Jean O'Grady, Jack Smith Ward, and Frances Ward. Visitation will be 12:30-1:30 PM Sunday, April 17, 2016, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Hwy 9 N, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM, in Good Shepherd Memorial Park, 4164 Boiling Springs Rd., Boiling Springs, SC 29316, conducted by the Rev. Dwayne Morris.
