Judy Dodd

Judy Juanita Strand Dodd, 80, of Spartanburg, SC died Thursday, March 11, 2021, at Pacifica Senior Living Skylyn. Born in Laurens County, SC on March 12, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Violet Bowman Dodd and step-father, Ernest Strand Sr., and wife of the late Olin Dodd Sr. Mrs. Dodd was a retired Instructor at Spartanburg Community College. Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Bain Howell, and granddaughter, Katie Gosnell (Stephen); great-grandson, Kason Condrey; step-daughter, Kathy Smith; step-son, Olin Dodd Jr.; step-granddaughter, Anna Fountain; step-grandson, Clinton Turner; sister-in-law, Kay Strand; Niece, Laura Hope Blankenship (Charles) and a special great-niece, Sara Kate Blankenship. She was predeceased by brothers, Ernest Strand Jr. and Jerry David Strand, and son-in-law, Keith Howell. A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306, conducted by The Rev. Roger Gosnell. The family will be at the home of Stephen and Katie Gosnell in Boiling Springs.
