Judy Cartee

Judy Faulks Cartee, 65, of Spartanburg, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born October 20, 1946, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of Emmie Simmons Faulks of Woodruff and the late George Faulks. Judy was a former employee of Ron's Quick Shop and Pioneer Fish Camp. She was a member of Peace Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband, Thomas Eugene Cartee; daughters, Debra Huckabee, Tammy Lewis, and Ashley Cartee, all of Roebuck, Sharon Waddell of Woodruff, and Renee Cartee of Campobello; son, Bobby Cartee of Roebuck; grandchildren, Cherish and Alex of the home; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Ida Mae, Martha, and Beth, all of Woodruff; and brothers, Jerry of Woodruff and Sanford of Cowpens. She was predeceased by a son, Richard Cartee; and a grandson, Tyler Cartee. Visitation will be 1:00-2:15 PM Friday, December 23, 2011, at Peace Free Will Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 PM, in the church, conducted by the Rev. Chuck Thornton. Burial will be in Heritage Memorial Gardens, Roebuck.
