Judith Wheatley

Judith Kay Greene Wheatley, 55, of Spartanburg, died Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at her home. Born October 29, 1953, in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Robert D. and Lola Richards Greene and the wife of the late Sydney Lanier Wheatley. She was a graduate of Central Wesleyan College, a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, and formerly in the Naval Reserve. Survivors include two daughters, Laura Fowler of Charleston, and Melissa Williams of Greenville; a sister, Sybil Foster of Anderson; and two grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, April 19, 2009, at Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Monty King. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mount Zion Baptist Church, 842 Mount Zion Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303. The family is at their respective homes.
